What Space Do I Require To Fit A Stair?

All stairs need a certain space to be installed. As a guideline if you are ordering for example a 1370mm diameter stair, the space required needs to be 100mm larger ie.1470mm. If you get confused at all or need some help do not hesitate to contact us.

Do Your Stairs Comply To Building Regulations

Yes, we produce a lot of quality stairs to comply to BS5395. We have had 19 years experience doing this so if you have any questions and need some help dont hesitate to contact us.

What Measurements Will I Need?

The basic measurement you will need is the floor to floor height (not floor to ceiling). With this we can tell you how many rises and treads you require.

Do You Make Timber Stairs?

We make stairs from lots of different materials. We make fully or part timber stairs with such woods as Beech, Iroko, Idigbo and Oak. All our hardwoods are SOLID timber (not laminated) and we turn all balusters etc. in our own factory.

Can We Get A Site Survey?

Yes, depending on location. Elite has a dedicated member of our technical team out on the road who will do you a free site survey.

Are The Stairs Easy To Install?

We produce the stairs to ensure there is as little fabrication on site as possible. You will receive detailed fitting instructions with the stair. We can provide you with a team of our own fitters if you would like that peace of mind.
